I’m not sure how I can make this any more clear. THIS MUG BETTER BE IN MY DAMN STOCKING. We have a sweet little Shiba Inu at home and it’s my dream that she would one day ride a bike with me. No? Ok, that’s wishful thinking.
Cinched waists on oversized jackets are sooooo amazing. They create a really flattering silhouette, but let you layer and adjust as needed for your ride. Add in a fur scarf, much like the one from Alison’s holiday gift guide, and you have a day to night winter bike style.

We all know that Melissa from Bike Pretty is a total babe with incredible style, but did you know that she can put together one hell of a holiday gift guide for bike lovers?! You can add this entire list to my own.

Etro Paisley Silk and Cashmere Shawl // Sure, you can ride your bike without a fancy silk and cashmere scarf, but why would you want to? The organic fibers have natural moisture management properties. And the chic Paisley pattern is a classic.
Shinola Leather Covered Bike Lock // I am obsessed with leather bike accessories, and this chain lock is no exception. Since this product is currently wait-listed, why not try a DIY version?
Crane Karen Spring Strike Copper Bell // Don’t shout yourself hoarse with cries of “On yer left!” Get a pretty little bike bell instead. Shiny copper will stand out on grey, wintry days.
MonkeyLectric M232 Monkey Light Bike Wheel Light // I’m counting the days to the Winter Solstice. I can’t wait for the days to start getting longer. In the meantime, light up the night with these super spoke LEDs.
Boombot Rex Wireless Speaker // You know what’s even better than a bike ride? A bike ride with rockin’ tunes! This wireless, portable speaker clips on to a strap or a belt loop so you can bring the party with you wherever you go.
Terry’s Dark Chocolate Orange Gift Box // A “Whack-and-unwrap” chocolate orange is a traditional stocking-stuffer in our house. The delicate orange flavor goes perfectly with bittersweet chocolate. Also good for preventing bonk during musical bike rides (see above).
RydeSafe Reflective Butterflies Bike Decals Kit // Let’s be honest. Most reflective and hi-viz gear is highly visible–in a bad way. The trick is to get noticed and look good at the same time. These highly reflective bike stickers come in lots of pretty shapes and colors.
Poppy Von Frohlich Hand Knit Leg Warmers // Winter riding is all about layers. Got a friend that is a die-hard skirt-biker? I had the pleasure of trying these hand knit leg warmers and they are perfect for layering over tights. Ahh, toasty.
We’re all putting together our holiday wishlists and finding the perfect present for our loved ones. Sometimes, it can feel a bit overwhelming. There are so many great things out there for women that bike, and we’ve decided to ask our favorite tastemakers to share their holiday gift guide for bike lovers.
First up, is Alison from Eleanor’s, one of our favorite retailers. Based in Brooklyn, New York, Eleanor’s sells stylish bicycle accessories for ladies.
New stylish bike helmet // A new helmet is #1 on my holiday wish list for 2013. Leopard print is all over the runways and this print from Sawako Furuno a spot on.
Leather Gloves // I love these Valentino black rockstud gloves to keep my hands warm while riding my bike to work. They are the prefect mix of edgy and elegant. These are definitely a splurge at $495 but so worth it.
Kiehl’s #1 Lip Balm Gift Set // My lips get super dry while cycling in colder weather. I love using this lip balm to keep them smooth and protected from the cold. It’s the prefect stocking stuffer.
Handwoven Bike Basket // This is the perfect gift for any cyclist. One-of-a-kind, it’s handwoven by House of Talents artisans. This company provides economic development opportunities to its employees and donates a portion of its profits to a scholarship fund.
Faux Fur Infinity Scarf // This scarf is a great accent for any cold weather attire. The loop keeps you warm and stylish on and off your bike.
